I’m Brandon Schaefer, an artist focused on the practice of making art over a lifetime. I care less about quick results and more about building confidence, clarity, and meaning through steady work.
Art, for me, isn’t just about producing finished pieces. It’s about attention, discipline, and learning how to stay with the process even when motivation fades or doubt sets in.
I’ve been painting, drawing, and sharing my work online for over 15 years. Along the way, I’ve experienced creative blocks, long plateaus, and moments of deep clarity, all of which shaped how I think about creative work.
What I share now comes from lived experience: time spent outdoors painting from life, years of showing up even when the work felt difficult, and learning how to simplify both the art itself and the life around it.
Today, I share my work through writing, courses, and original paintings. My teaching focuses on helping artists build confidence, develop practical skills, and stay committed to their creative practice with less pressure and more clarity.
Whether you’re here to learn, read, or simply spend time with the artwork, my hope is that something here helps you slow down and reconnect with why you make art in the first place.
