Hulopoe Bay

Hulopoe Bay is a gouache painting I painted using a plein air sketch I did on location in Hawaii on Lanai Island, near Maui. This was my first and only trip ever to Lanai and I went there to snorkel for the first time too. This bay is a beautiful and relaxing spot for snorkeling and enjoying the day.

I approached the process of this painting in my studio as if I was painting it on location.

The artwork is painted on Strathmore Toned Tan Mixed Media Paper using M. Graham and Da Vinci paints - very high-quality artist materials. The painted comes unmounted.

It will be shipped within 1-3 days of purchase and will arrive in a padded envelope strengthened with a hardboard panel to avoid any bending in transit.

Artwork Dimensions: 6” x 8”

Please note that the painting is shipped unframed and will arrive without a frame or mount. This is due to the real possibility of any frame and glass being damaged during the shipping process.
